Thanks for the great skin! It’s perfect for my WWII project!

I had some issues getting this to work with Thesis 1.7, but after some tweaks I think I got it to work right. There are still some spacing issues on my website, but I still think it looks great. Considering I just learned of Thesis and WordPress last week, I think I’m doing OK… lol. I just wanted to let you know that I (an absolute beginner with no prior knowledge of website design, CSS, HTML, or PHP) was able to get this to work, and I really appreciate the time and effort you put into releasing this free skin along with the excellent tutorial.

Hello Ben
am using WP 2.92 with your great skin for which I keep getting compliments

I used to see the link (Edit) to log in ONLY with IE8 (not on Firefox/Chrome), now I don’t even see it there anymore
how can I log in? Thank you very much

However, I do need to walk you through a few of the items that are specific to this Thesis skin.

Mark, it sounds like this skin might not be the skin for you.

Thanks again for the skin. Your work is appreciated!Bob

Hey Ben, great work on the skin dude! I am testing it on a development project as we speak. This project has both landscape and vertical pictures so every post links to content showing those pictures. In your demo site every picture is landscape (in the teaser and in the post). You have any recommandations for picture sizes (landscape and portrait in the post itself)?

If you have images that can fit the 955 width that looks really sharp IMO but in the end it comes down to personal preference. I’ve used this skin on one of my other sites () and it looks good even with much smaller images.

If anyone has good copy of the skin can u plz send it to me

Hey Ben – thank you so much for the skin! It’s officially up on my photoblog. I’m having some issues with the image slider, but I’m hoping to figure out how to fix the problem tonight. 🙂

I will keep playing with my demo site unit i get working properly and then make my real website

Jack, let’s try to keep this thread to discussion about the skins.

Thanks for the tutorial man, I really appreciate it! Your skin ROCKS!

Jack, it doesn’t look like you’ve installed the Dynamic Content Gallery plugin that this skin requires. Did you follow all of the installation directions?

Thanks for the quick reply!
Sorry about all of the typos in the last comment! I had been pulling weeds all day!
I am using FireFox and XP. But I also saw it in IE. I am thinking that it is my monitor.
I think that I can live with and/or fix what I have done. Not bad for less than 24 hours!
Thanks again for the free skin. I appreciate the time that you spent!

Free Thesis Skin for Photographers: Exhibit - …

Cool skin! I am using Thesis 1.6 on my personal blog site, and while I don’t want to do a total re-design with this skin, I would REALLY love to use the image slider on my site! The problem is, I can’t seem to find a good, clean slider solution for Thesis. FCG and Smooth Slider are buggy and don’t seem to play well with Thesis. Any ideas?

That’s found in your Thesis design settings. Under the Teasers I just checked off all the boxes except for the thumbnail option. That should have been imported though when you loaded up the options files I included in the skin?

Hi Ben,
I just added the exhibit skin to my website and am wondering how I remove the captions of the posts and replace them with the photos like in your demo site. I also like the effect that you have when you click on pictures in the slideshow!
